Vienna Philharmonic

It is with great excitement and gratitude that I share the news of my appointment as principal viola at the Vienna State Opera/ Vienna Philharmonic. I’m honored to be joining this prestigious group. Looking forward to working with talented colleagues in Vienna, sharing my passion for music with audiences from around the world, and seeing where this new journey takes me.

Lohengrin string sextet

My transcription work of Wagner’s opera “Lohengrin” for string sextet will be published by Hofmeister Musikverlag this spring. The idea came to me during my performance with the Bayreuth Festival orchestra in the summer of 2019, and the transcription was completed during the most difficult time of the pandemic. On August 28, 2020, this work was premiered at Villa Wahnfried, the Wagner Museum in Bayreuth, coinciding with the 170th anniversary of the original opera.
